Rob Alexander is an analogue photographer, composer/sound artist and lighting designer based in Oxford, UK.

Following his early interest in music he initially trained as a composer and sound recordist, graduating with an MA in Composition and Sonic Art from Oxford Brookes University. During his studies he expanded his practice with mixed-media works incorporating analogue photography - which has since steadily become the primary medium in which he works. He collects vintage and antique equipment to this purpose, mainly utilising Rolleicord and Rolleiflex cameras.

His work is often multi-disciplinary and finds focus in explorations of perception and experience of place - alongside issues of sustainability in practice, environment and the enduring nature of analogue recording and media.
